About the Event

What: CASA Superhero 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run

When: Saturday May 9, 2026

Where: White Oaks, Bridgeport, WV - The 5K starts & ends at Steptoe and Johnson, PLLC.

Cost: $30 for 5K participants; $10 for Kids' Fun Run

Lace up your shoes, grab your cape, and join a local league of superheroes for the CASA Superhero 5K Run/Walk. This event is a fun, meaningful race benefiting Harrison County CASA Program and the children served. Every step you take helps give a voice to children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the child welfare system.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a family looking for a fun-filled community event, this event is for you! Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded with a costume contest. Teams are also encouraged.

📍 Event Details

Activities begin and end at Steptoe & Johnson. The 5K course rolls through White Oaks and features mixed terrain. The course is marked and has volunteers to assist along the route, as well as traffic control provided by Bridgeport Police Dept.

⚠️ Please note: some portions of the course may not be suitable for standard strollers.

📍Awards are given for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female winners, as well as each age division listed: 1 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+
